Company Highlights

  • Over the past couple years, CreditVest underwrote over 200 newly originated private sector transactions which included over 500 properties totaling over $7 Billion in commercial real estate financing. In addition, CreditVest reviewed or underwrote more than 2,500 commercial real estate loans on behalf of various organizations affiliated with the United States government.
  • CreditVest’s current clients include 2 of the 5 largest banks in the United States, as well as United States government-sponsored enterprises and departments. CreditVest has been an active Participating Administrative Entities (PAE) for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for nearly 20 years.
  • As a PAE in HUD’s Mark-to-Market Program, the firm has underwritten and restructured debt on over 650 low-income housing complexes.
  • CreditVest has worked on commercial real estate transactions all over the United States in all property types.
  • We have been hired to consult on transactions ranging in size from $1 million up to $2 billion.

Past Successes

CreditVest is actively involved in bringing green, energy-saving improvements to multi-family properties. In 2009, CreditVest was selected as one of three PAE’s nationwide to participate in HUD’s Green Initiative, serving as an underwriter and rehabilitation administrator for low-income housing units in the Green Retrofit Program. Today, CreditVest continues to work with owners to encourage green improvements through its work with the Mark-to-Market Program.

CreditVest has been involved in the CMBS industry since it began in the mid-1990s, at which time CreditVest assisted Nomura Securities in developing and implementing underwriting standards for its Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS) program.

In the early-1990s, CreditVest worked with the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in successfully resolving over $4 billion of real estate assets and implementing their Seller Finance programs. CreditVest was the only firm approved and awarded contracts in each of the four RTC regions nationwide. CreditVest also provided seller finance services for the FDIC by assisting in completing the FDIC National Real Estate Auctions, the three largest commercial real estate auctions in history.
